About Ben and Jackie: "Creating Customer Evangelists" authors Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba have extensive experience in marketing, management and communications. They are founders and principals of Wabash & Lake, a customer evangelism experience firm that has trained dozens of companies and thousands of people on the six tenets of customer evangelism. They are columnists for MarketingProfs.com and speak frequently at industry conferences and company meeting kick-offs.
Prior to Wabash & Lake, Ben McConnell was senior vice president and managing director for a marketing firm and worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients. Trained as a journalist, Ben also co-founded dallasnews.com, the online presence for The Dallas Morning News, the eighth-largest newspaper in the United States.
Prior to Wabash & Lake, Jackie Huba was marketing chief for a marketing agency that worked with a variety of Fortune 500 clients, including Campbell Soup, P&G, Wyndham Hotels, and Eli Lilly. She also spent 12 years at IBM, where she was a marketing manager in its software division.
